18th Annual Brendan & Jake Holiday Show: Thank You
We want to offer a big thank you to everyone who tuned in on Saturday night for the 18th Annual Holiday Show. Like much of 2020, it wasn’t how we planned it but your support means a lot to us and to the People’s Music School.
Through your generous contributions, we will be writing a check for $12,000 to help the People’s Music School continue their mission of educating those who would not otherwise have that chance. Music has profoundly changed our lives and every child we can help share that opportunity with is a “win.”
Stay tuned for more information about joining UM when we (virtually) present that check to the kids. And we will be contacting auction winners throughout the next day via email to relay further information. Here’s to seeing you in person for the 19th Annual Holiday Show!
In the meantime, relive the festivities with a few highlights from Jake and Brendan.

It’s not like there’s a book for this . . .
In typical 2020 fashion, yet another curveball gets thrown. Out of an abundance of caution, Jake and Brendan will not be able to play together for tonight’s Holiday Show — so we will be making some ‘rona lemonade. Tonight, Shitty Limo will be coming at you not only from Brendan’s living room but Jake’s Boondock Studio as well!
It’s not how we planned it but it’s still will be fun. The fun starts live at 8:00 pm CT.
A reminder that net proceeds from ticket sales and 100% of all donations tonight will benefit The People’s Music School.

Holiday Show 2020: The Going Nowhere Fast Edition
Formerly known as Brendan Bayliss and Jake Cinninger of Umphrey’s McGee, Shitty Limo brings you the time-tested, somehow relevant, annual tradition that is the Holiday Show. Eighteen years in, this year marks the first ever webcast of the event (see: Options Limited/Global Pandemic). Airing live on the evening of December 12th from the Vinyl Room at Big Room Studios (AKA Brendan’s house), the usually intimate affair gets even cozier.
As always, we focus our efforts on raising money for our friends at The People’s Music School, an organization that raises the bar on delivering high-quality, tuition-free music education to a myriad of kids in Chicago. The People’s Music School provides opportunity, cultivates excellence and fosters community across racial, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds. Having seen first hand the hard work, self-esteem and resilience they foster, we couldn’t be more proud to help support the cause.
Net proceeds from ticket sales and 100% of all donations will benefit The People’s Music School. And while we can’t execute our usual raffle shenanigans year, every ticket purchaser will automatically be entered to win a handful of unique prizes that will be doled out during the show. The more you donate, the more chances you will have to win.
Live at 8:00 pm CT on Saturday, December 12th. Do come frolic.

Shitty Limo. . . it’s pretty shitty, but at least it’s still a limo.
