Anchor Drops Redux: Track-by-Track Video Series

(If you aren’t caught up on the series, you can start with Episode 1 – “Plunger” and watch the entire album straight through here. And if you would like to purchase the release, please visit Anchor Drops Redux.)

Episode 13 – “The Pequod”

“This was one of the first things that a lot of people heard Umphrey’s McGee do, and it’s something that I think we’re all still very proud of to this day.”

And just like that, the Anchor Drops Redux video series has reached its conclusion. “The Pequod” completes our 13 song retrospective on the 2004 original release. Fighting untamable electrical currents in the Poltergeist of studios felt like par for the course back then, and we wouldn’t have had it any other way. Amidst a “transitional year,” with “our first real confident record,” join us for the series finale as the band reflects on that initial anchor dropping.
