We are pleased to announce Umphrey’s McGee’s return to Charlotte, North Carolina on August 10, 2017 as part of the expansion of the Major Rager concert program. Umphrey’s McGee will headline with support from Nashville’s Moon Taxi at this event to benefit the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra.

Members of both Umphrey’s McGee and Moon Taxi are rabid sports fans and avid golfers who find respite from the grueling pace of life on the road on the links. And the proven success of The Major Rager over the past four years during one of the most prestigious sporting events in the world, The Masters Tournament, shows that modern golfers come from a wide array of ages, backgrounds, and taste profiles. Now, golf and music fans will be happy to learn of The Major Rager’s first stop outside of Augusta at Symphony Park at SouthPark Mall, coinciding with the PGA Championship at nearby Quail Hollow Club. Delectable food and drink vendors will be on site as well as several bars and exciting product demos.

Limited Early Bird tickets for the event go on sale this Friday, May 5, at 10:00 am ET, priced at $25.00 for General Admission and $80.00 for VIP. Early Bird pricing expires on May 12 at 10:00 am ET; advance General Admission will then be $30.00 with advance VIP costing $100.00.
