ZONKEY: “Electric Avenue To Hell”

“Electric Avenue To Hell” comes correct for your weekend. What do you get when you mash “Highway To Hell” (AC/DC) with “Electric Avenue” (Eddy Grant) and sprinkle some of “The Triple Wide” (Umphrey’s McGee) on top? Why, this week’s ZONKEY premiere of course, coming at you from our pals at Relix Magazine.

This track features the rezonkulous Jennifer Hartswick and her vocal prowess. “Once I realized Bon Scott was one of the hardest vox to nail, Jen was the first voice that popped in my head. She’s got to do it! Some of those high notes just kill,” says Jake.

Please help us help you by supporting the cause & pre-ordering ZONKEY. Pre-order the digital album or CD on UM Merch or UMLive, and instantly receive “Electric Avenue To Hell” as well the first four mashups we’ve dropped thus far. Additionally, all released tracks are available a la carte on iTunes or Spotify for your listening pleasure.

Finally, this week’s cover was designed by a talented young artist by the name of Sarah DeRemer. Her work runs the creative gamut and her mash ups are as odd as ours (we mean that as a compliment). You can take a look at here other fascinating work here. Stay tuned for another cover coming Sarah coming soon!
