Umphrey’s McGee is proud to announce our return to Ravinia in Highland Park, Illinois on Friday, August 14th. Following last year’s incredibly successful experience, we return for a two-set rock show at Chicagoland’s most magical concert venue. We will be joined by the gospel majesty of Chicago Mass Choir, who will perform with us for a few songs over the course of the show. If you weren’t with us last year, Ravinia features a pristine concert pavilion and a gorgeous, expansive lawn highlighted by nearly a hundred year-old canopy of trees. Those who prefer to experience the show from the lawn are encouraged to bring your own food & beverage, lawn chairs, blankets, tables, and coolers to enjoy a night of Umphrey’s McGee like none other. Last year we witnessed some incredible picnic set ups — we look forward to seeing what you can do this time around! Ravinia is just an easy train ride from Chicago, located mere steps off the Metra’s Union Pacific North Line at the Ravinia stop. If the train isn’t your game, Ravinia is also just a short drive from the surrounding areas, with ample parking.
