The winning ideas for our crowd sourced video contest are in! Now it’s time for you filmmakers out there to submit a pitch. Pitch phase ends July 18th.

No Diablo: Through the eyes of a child and the advice (lyrics) that parents/adults are giving. Lyrics will guide situational video and match accents in song.

Puppet String: A world displayed in which infinitely inward or outward we are all controlled to some extent by someone(thing) else.

To continue the celebration surrounding the release of our new album, we are back with another contest empowering our fans. We want you to make a killer music video for either “No Diablo” or “Puppet String” from Similar Skin. One talented filmmaker will take home $10,000 and a VIP prize package, including tickets and backstage passes to a UM show!

No clue how to make a video? No worries, you can still get in on the action. We are calling on all UM fans to submit IDEAS for the video so even if you don’t know which end of a video camera to look through, your concept could be the genesis for the whole project.
