What is umVIP?

umVIP is an elevated concert experience created by the Umphrey’s McGee team, crafted to offer you the best available amenities just for you. umVIP packages typically include, not always or limited to, a concert ticket, a meet and greet or step and repeat photo with the band, early entry, preferred viewing section, a signed event poster, a UMLive download of the show, a commemorative laminate, and a umVIP merch item. Each venue and show experience is different so the amenities available will vary show to show. Please know we are always doing our best to provide you the best possible experience and accommodations.

What is umVIP Nothing Too Fancy?

umVIP Nothing Too Fancy is a scaled down version of our umVIP offering. For exact amenities please reference the specific show in the show listings.

Where and how can I buy my package?

All packages are available for purchase directly through individual umVIP pages on the event pre-sale date.

How will I find out the details for my package after purchase?

We use the name and email you provide when you purchase your package to communicate all of your important package details and updates to you.

What are the installment plan options and how do I get one started?

Most programs will have an option to pay via installments, and the details for that will be presented to you when you check out.

How do I receive my tickets?

You will pick up your tickets from a umVIP check-in desk located at either the venue or one of the hotels offered in the travel packages on the first day of the umVIP program date. Check-in times are typically between noon and showtime. We will email you the specific location and check-in times upon purchase or seven to ten days before the show. You will also pick up your package amenities from this location so we typically suggest arriving early so you can bring your items back to a safe place rather than carrying them around for the evening.

What if I cannot make it to the check-in location during the check-in time provided?

If you are unable to make it to the check-in desk during the times provided we ask that you please let us know 48 hours ahead of time so we can make other arrangements for you.

If I cannot go can I give my package to a friend?

Yes. You can transfer your package for a $25 fee. If someone other than the person who purchased the package is going to redeem/enjoy the package please email [email protected] with the name change details and we will send you an invoice for the $25 package transfer fee. Once this is completed, we will make the name change.

If my package includes a signed poster, can I opt to receive my poster unsigned?

Of course. Please let us know ahead of time so we can make sure and grab you an unsigned poster.

If my package includes a meet and greet, can I bring something to get signed by the band?

Most likely. Please let us know ahead of time what you plan on bringing so we can ensure it’s okay with the venue. If the venue approves it, the guys will have sharpies ready to sign during the meet and greet.

If my package includes a meet and greet, can I take photos?

100% Please share your pics with us if you are so inclined, [email protected] and/or @VIPMcGee. We would love to see them!

* Please note, if the meet and greet for your specific event is taking place inside of the music venue only point and shoot cameras will be allowed. All professional cameras with detachable lenses will require a photo pass.
