Your deposit will be run automatically at the time of registration.

What gear do I need?
Bring your instrument(s), if they fit! Amps are not required. For more information, email summerschool@umphreys.com to confirm what is provided as the equipment varies with each camp.

Can I still come if I'm not a musician?
Yes. You are welcome to come hang, explore, and have fun with team Umphrey's. It is quite common for non-musicians to attend camps of this nature. However, this camp is intended for those who want to learn about the music of Umphrey's McGee. Playing an instrument is not required, but is a plus.

What skill level is required to attend?
Classes and curriculum are developed to accommodate all ranges of playing. All classes are optional and open to everyone.

Is there an age requirement?
No. Minors will be required to provide a consent form from a legal guardian.

Are meals included?
Yes! Three gourmet meals a day along with evening snacks are included in your package price.

Are drinks included?
No, however a modestly priced full bar will be open throughout the week that includes a great selection.

Can I bring my own alcohol?
Yes, however it can only be consumed in the camping area, or in your inside accommodations. No outside alcohol is permitted in any of the other common areas due to liquor license limitations. Please respect this policy.

If I want to bring my spouse but they don't want to attend classes, is that possible?
Please email summerschool@umphreys.com and let us know your situation, we'll be happy to consider.

When is check in? Check out?
Check in is at 3:00 pm on Monday and check out is at 11:00 am on Friday. Due to Full Moon's busy event calendar, it is often not possible to check in early or check out late.

What will the sUMmer school schedule look like?
Check in will begin at 3 PM Monday June 17. Workshops, sessions, and other sUMmer school activities will run Tuesday June 18 – Thursday June 20. There will be a farewell breakfast the morning of Friday June 21. Check out is 11 AM Friday August 9. Exact schedule per day will be determined based on registration surveys received.

Face time: Will *they* really be there?
Yes! All week long! You will eat, play, and learn from the UM team with plenty of time to ask questions, take photographs, and get autographs.

Is there really no cell phone reception at camp?!
It is true. There is no cell phone reception at Full Moon Resort. There is a courtesy telephone available 24/7 in the hotel library.

How do I make my final payment?
Your final payment will be automatically run on the credit card on file on the due date noted in your registration form. You may provide an alternative method of payment as long as it is received before the due date.

Can I take photos, video, or audio recordings?
Yes. You may be required to sign a waiver stating all recordings, footage and/or photos will be used strictly for personal use and not commercially.

What is the weather like at camp?
Weather in the Catskills varies. In the summer months, you can expect warm days (low 70s to upper 80s) and cooler nights (upper 40s to upper 60s). Click here for updated weather information.

What do you suggest I bring with me?

Is there equipment storage for tent campers?
This can be arranged on an as-needed basis.

Can I select my own roommate?
Yes, only if that person is signed up as well. We can not hold a spot for someone unless they have already registered. You can indicate who you are signing up with on your registration form.

How does the facility select my roommate?
We select roommates based on age and gender. You will always be placed with a same-sex roommate.

How many people will attend sUMmer school?
To retain the intimacy of this special event and give all sUMmer schoolers hands on time with the team, this event is limited to 150 attendees.
