Saxophonist Bill Evans has confirmed the lineup for his residency at New York’s Blue Note. Evans’ annual residency will take place from February 26-March 3, 2013; he will play two shows at the club per night. Throughout the run, Evans’ Soulgrass band will feature John Medeski, Etienne Mbappe, Mitch Stein, Ryan Cavanaugh, and Josh Dion. On February 26 and 27, Soulive/Lettuce guitarist Eric Krasno will join the group and on February 28 and March 1, Umphrey’s own Jake Cinninger will sit in with the group. Additional guests will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
