Hindsight 20/20 Tour Announced: Openers

Umphrey’s McGee is pumped to welcome The New Deal on tour with us for a handful of dates on our Hindsight 20/20 Tour, as well as Billy Strings and Empire Strikes Brass in Asheville!

The Toronto-based live electronic trio returns with new drummer Davide Di Renzo, joining Jamie Shields (keyboards) and Dan Kurtz (bass) to create the third incarnation of the dance party powerhouse, The New Deal. Singer, songwriter, and guitarist, Billy Strings takes the stage in Asheville with his unique take on psychedelic Americana, after Asheville’s own Empire Strikes Brass opens the two-night run with their blend of high energy brass, funk, and rock.

It’s going to be a party, people. Get your Hindsight 20/20 tickets now.

Umphrey’s McGee is looking ahead (or is it behind?) as we present the initial batch of dates on our Hindsight 20/20 Tour. As the beginning of next year comes into focus, we are eyeing returns to some of our favorite rooms for double-headers: The Beacon Theatre in New York City, The Fillmore in Detroit, and Exploreasheville.com Arena in Asheville, all of which will have enhanced experience umVIP tickets to boot.

This tour will see a return to mainstays we have come to know and love, as well as new venues to the Band like Graceland Soundstage in Memphis (home of the King!) and The Caverns in Pelham, Tennessee – where Umphrey’s will literally be playing inside a cave.
