Chucktown Ball Charity Golf Tournament
Umphrey’s McGee is proud to announce the inaugural Chucktown Ball Charity Golf Tournament at the Wild Dunes Harbor Golf Course. Join members of the band and UM organization for a day of golf and revelry starting at 1:00 pm on Sunday, September 25th, following our second annual Chucktown Ball at Riverfront Park on September 23rd and 24th.
Attendees will have the opportunity to play alongside members of Umphrey’s McGee and other special guest musicians. Join fans, community members, and avid players for a day of challenging golf, good times, cold beverages, and more. The tournament will be capped off with an extended cocktail reception which includes food and more beverages, a robust silent auction and raffle, awards ceremony, and local entertainment. There will be opportunities to participate in longest drive, closest to the pin, longest putt, and straightest drive competitions. This tournament will be a four-person team scramble, where you will be able to put your teams together in advance. If playing by yourself, we will place you in a group based on your handicap. In true Umphrey’s McGee fashion, there will also be exciting surprises throughout the event.
Wild Dunes is considered one of South Carolina’s premier golf clubs. The Harbor Course, designed by Tom Fazio, is know for its challenging design and beautiful views, and most of all, water. From salt marshes to the Intracoastal Waterway, this varied golf course will test all aspects of your game.
This event is proud to support the MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital for their continued miraculous work for the children of South Carolina. The Umphrey’s family has been touched deeply by this organization, and we are happy to give something back.
