Almost ten years to the day of its original release, Safety In Numbers is back with a fresh coat of polish. Remastered and once again available on vinyl (180-gram double-LP, for those scoring at home), this is one for you collectors out there. Today also marks the first time SIN has been available in a variety of new lossless digital formats, including the first 24bit release. We have also made a few updates to the packaging and added some original concept sketches from the late, great Storm Thorgerson (Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Genesis). All versions include two bonus tracks that were not on the original release.
In addition, the vinyl reissue is now available at a number of independent music stores across the country. As a “thanks” to indie retailers for continuing to stock quality releases, we’ve created an exclusive edition that includes a dual-sided vinyl slipmat. These are only available with the first 1,000 copies sold at these retail locations, so scoop one up while you can (and tell your local store clerk thanks for fighting the good fight). Every vinyl copy (online or in stores) will also include an MP3 download.
Thanks for supporting Umphrey’s McGee by purchasing the music we make and by helping us spread the word. We sincerely appreciate your patronage. True story.
