Brooklyn Bowl Birthday Bash

It’s hard to believe it’s already been 15 years. Especially since Joel has been giving piano lessons for nearly 30 years. But here we are kicking off our 15th anniversary in lovely New York. We’re honored to be playing a sold out Beacon Theatre tonight, a venue steeped in such rich history that it humbles all who enter. We just couldn’t help ourselves though, so we’ve added a birthday proper gig on Sunday at UM favorite Brooklyn Bowl. Nothing says Sunday like bowling, fried chicken and a rock show.

Because many of you can’t join us in person, we’ve worked out a few options to join in on fun from the comfort of your living room. We’ll be streaming live video of the show directly from umlive.net, using four in-house Brooklyn Bowl cameras paired with only the finest HQ sound board audio. $7.95 for the live stream, or bundle it with the MP3 download and save a few bucks on both ($15.95). Show starts promptly at 9PM ET but tune in early for curiously odd video of people bowling.

In addition, our friends at Sirius XM will be broadcasting the show live on Jam On (Ch. 29). Their broadcast will begin at 8PM ET and feature interviews with UM lighting designer Jefferson Waful, long time friend and fan Scott Bernstein, and frankly anyone else that strikes us as entertaining. Sign up for a free 7 day trial subscription here. Everybody wins.

Monday is a holiday so come celebrate properly.
